Anna is agoraphobic, and confined to her home on a residential street in New York City. She spends her time watching classic movies, playing chess online, counselling other agoraphobics, and watching her neighbors. And drinking wine – lots of wine. But when she sees a crime from her window, her precarious life begins to unravel. I think I have whiplash from all the plot twists in this wonderful thriller. Forget about those other thrillers with “girl” in the title – this “woman” has what it takes!
