Set at the end of Mark Twain’s life, this novel features the fictionalized account of Twain’s relationship with his secretary, Isabel Lyon. Based loosely on Lyon’s diary and Twain’s writings, Twain’s End reimagines the last years of the famous author’s life. Readers of other fictionalized accounts of the lives of historical figures, such as Patricia O’Brien’s Harriet and Isabella about Twain’s Nook Farm neighbor Harriet Beecher Stowe, will especially enjoy this story.
