When he decides to make a new start in his life, Gil begins by walking from Manhattan to his new home in Arizona. (His belongings go in a moving van.) He thinks of his new home as a castle, with big rooms and high ceilings. When a new family moves into the glass house next door, he can’t help but become involved with their daily life, for obvious reasons. With humor and sincerity, Gil’s story of connecting will charm.
