Planeta Blu is a graphic novel created by our own local Amherst talent, Tem Blessed. You might know Tem from their work empowering youth or as a socially conscious hip hop artist. Along with the lush creative talents of illustrator Lariccia, they have published an epic eco-fantasy adventure that evokes a similar feeling to the secret world of Black Panther's Wakanda. Both thoughtful and engaging, this action-packed 250 page graphic novel will surely make an impact of on young people as both a history lesson and call to action for positive change in our world. We need more books like this.
