In this comedy of manners, a bitter divide forms between dog owners and dog-less residents in a Massachusetts college town that sounds very similar to our own. Someone is poisoning the town’s dogs, and the regulars at the dog park each have their own suspects. The author takes us from dinner parties to therapists’ offices, from soccer games to school concerts as the residents grapple with their rising anxiety. Irreverent and entertaining.
