An engrossing tale of the Cold War, told as parallel stories from the East and from the West. Olga is Boris Pasternak’s mistress, and is sent to the Gulag by Stalin for not revealing the plot of Dr. Zhivago while under interrogation. In Washington DC, Irina and Sally join the typing pool at the CIA, but special training leads to clandestine after-hours jobs. In this atmosphere of tension and fear, who can they trust? As the story lines cross, Dr Zhivago becomes a tool of the West in this Cold War thriller.
