Author Event: Dr. Andrew Lam

Saturday, September 21, 2019

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us for this local author event!  Dr. Andrew Lam will read from and talk about his new novel, Repentance, where one family’s catastrophic past comes to light just as the foundation of their present lives begins to crack. Drawn from the heroic true story of a Japanese American regiment that fought in World War II and became the most decorated unit in U.S. military history, this poignant family drama also shows the sorrows of the internment camps where American citizens of Japanese ancestry were imprisoned solely because of their race.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.
