Thanks for the Pink Slip: The Upside of Being Downsized, Fired, Let Go, Laid Off, Eliminated, Terminated, Etc. - ONLINE

Thursday, October 15, 2020

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Whatever your boss calls it, you've been fired. Instead of holding the infamous "pity party", try hosting a celebration bash for yourself. After all, you are now FREE to explore new possibilities, perhaps find a job you really could love, finish that screenplay you started in college, join the Peace Corp, or follow your passion into a self-employment venture.

This webinar prepares you for success even if you have "lost" your job. The topics covered include understanding the nature of being passionate about what you know and what you do, and developing your passion into a money-making venture, whether that be as a business owner or an employed person.

REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT VIA EMAIL at programs@joneslibrary.org

You must register with your email address in order to receive the link to participate. The link will be sent to you by email approximately one day before the webinar. You will need a device with audio and/or video and an internet connection to join.

About the presenter:
Constance Hallinan Lagan, director of The Entrepreneurial Center for Small Business Development, lectures nationwide on the job search, career advancement, entrepreneurship and personal growth for corporations, government agencies, professional associations, labor unions, hospitals, health care agencies, support groups, financial institutions, women's organizations, churches, colleges, universities and libraries nationwide. She brings information, insight, humor and hope to her audiences every time she speaks.

This program is made possible through CARES Act funding to Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
