Restless Reads Virtual Book Discussion - ONLINE

Thursday, July 23, 2020

8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Join us in July for an online discussion of The Souls of Black Folks by W.E.B. Du Bois, led by Amherst College professor and Restless Books publisher Ilan Stavans. This discussion is co-sponsored by the Jones Library, the Mid-Manhattan Branch of the New York Public Library, and Restless Books. The Souls of Black Folk is an indispensable study of race in America, written in 1903 and still resounding in 2020.

Follow this link for more information about the book, the author, and to register for the book discussion.  Registration is being handled by the New York Public Library, so don't be surprised!  Information about how to connect with the discussion via Google Meet will be sent to you after registration, the day before the event.

Copies of the book can be purchased from Restless Books or other vendor. Free copies of the e-book are always available on Overdrive/Libby and can be checked out with your library card. Copies of the e-book can also be found for free online in a number of repositories.
