Restless Reads Discusses "Robinson Crusoe" - ONLINE

Thursday, June 11, 2020

8:00 PM - 9:15 PM

Join us in June for another virtual book discussion! This month, we'll be exploring Robinson Crusoe, a perfect choose-your-own-adventure reading experience - a gripping story of peril and survival and ultimate isolation. Co-hosted by Restless Books, the Jones Library, and the Mid-Manhattan branch of the New York Public Library, the two-part book discussion will be led by Ilan Stavans, Restless Books publisher and the Lewis-Sebring Professor of Humanities, Latin American and Latino Culture at Amherst College.

Follow this link for more information about the book, the author, and to register for the book discussions. (You must register separately for each session.)

The 2-part discussion will be held online on Thursday, June 11 and Thursday, June 18 at 8:00 pm EDT. Information about how to connect with the discussion via Google Meet will be sent to you after registration, the day before the event.

Copies of the book can be purchased from Restless Books or other vendor. Free copies of the e-book are always available on Overdrive/Libby and can be checked out with your library card.  Copies of the e-book can also be found for free online in a number of repositories.
