Digital Amherst

Celebrate Amherst's 250th Anniversary. Digital Amherst, created by the staff in Special Collections, brings our Town's history alive through a collection of images, multimedia, and documents that reflect the independent spirit of our people, creative works, and culture.

In Special Collections are housed extensive collections in the fields of local and regional history, genealogy and Amherst authors. The facilities include a research room and an exhibit area. Visitors are welcome to view the exhibits without an appointment during public hours. Appointments for conducting research are not necessary but are strongly encouraged.
