Selecting a graduate school for advanced studies can be challenge. Whether you are coming straight from undergraduate, or going back to school for a career change or after some time in the world of work, the Career Center has a wide variety of titles to help you gather information. The Reference Department holds the most recent edition of many guides, but past editions as well as other guides can be found in the Career Center. America's Best Grad Schools - From U.S. News & World Report, This site contains the graduate school rankings that are published each year. You can search by discipline or select a linked list of top schools. You also can find links for a variety of tools and articles.
GradSchools.com - This site contains a very comprehensive online source of graduate school information. Lists can be selected based on graduate program subject, geography, and name of school. Links to further information, such as financial aid resources, is also available.
MEFA - From the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, learn about different options for financial aid for graduate studies.
College Navigator - From the Institute of Education Sciences at the U.S. Dept. of Education, a tool that allows you to see and compare profiles of almost 7,000 colleges and universities across the nation, including graduate schools. You can search by geographic area, state, program or degree.
AAMC Medical Schools - From the American Association of Medical Colleges, this site provides a listing of member medical schools.
AACSB Business Schools - From the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, find a listing of their accredited programs.
Law School Official Guide - At this site co-sponsored by the Law School Admission Council, you can find a listing of law schools approved by the American Bar Association.
Dental Programs - From the American Dental Association, find a list of dental programs accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Princeton Review - Find information on selecting graduate programs and schools. Find out about going to law school, business school or to medical school. Provides information about the grad school admissions test, as well as financial aid sources.
