Ferguson's Career Guidance Center - Accessible in the Career Center, the Reference Room, and remotely to Jones Library card holders, this database can provide information on applying for financial aid and scholarships, find a college, and much more.

Websites

FAFSA - Access information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or apply online. Worksheets for the online application and some general information are available in the Career Center as well.

MassMentor - Financial Aid - Financial aid guidance from the guide to Massachusetts independent colleges and universities. Begins with general information and provides a scholarship search option.

FastWEB - This site allows you to search their database of over 600,000 scholarships and grants. Extras include a college directory of over 4,000 colleges, information on scholarship scams, application deadlines, and online applications.

Sallie Mae - Resources included in this database include scholarships, fellowships, grants, work study, loan programs, tuition waivers, and internships. This site also has "Financial Aid 101" where you can learn more about paying for college.

U.S. Dept. of Education - Over $40 billion a year in grants, loans, and work-study assistance are provided through the Student Financial Assistance Programs. Their Student Guide explains about student eligibility, deadlines, and the different financial aid programs.

MassCIS: Financial Aid - From the Career Information System at the Massachusetts Dept. of Workforce Development. Different aid resources are clustered by category.

Kaarme Scholarships - A freely available section of a larger website aimed at college-bound students, these pages help students find scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

Financial Aid Facts - Resources include general information about financial aid, loans, and scholarships.

Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority - A non-profit state organization serving students and families in Massachusetts. Provides guidance on planning by age group and the general planning process.

TuitionBreak - For New England residents from the New England Board of Higher Education. Explore reduced regional tution rates at participating colleges and universities.

ScholarshipHelp - Offers basis step-by-step information on financial aid resources and guidance on how to apply.

FinAid - An annotated collection of information about student financial aid. FinAid is comprehensive, informative, and objective.
