FAFSA News for School Year 2011-12

There have been a number of changes in recent years regarding the FAFSA. Paper applications are no longer available at the Jones Library. The Department of Education is encouraging applicants to complete and submit the FAFSA application online. The online application interface is improved and easier to use. (The application for 2011-12 covers the school year from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.)

It is also possible to download a PDF FAFSA application form for 2011-12, to complete it on the computer or by hand, and then mail it in. Aquí se encuentra la solicitud en español (PDF) para el año escolar 2011-2012.

FAFSA on the Web Worksheet forms will be available in the Career Center, which is located in the lower level of the library. Completing this form beforehand will facilitate the online application process. These forms are also available on the FAFSA website. Aquí se encuentra la planilla de preparación para FAFSA en español (PDF).

Please note that the Federal School Code List is only available online. No paper list is available for consultation in the library.
