Invisible Web

Family Friendly Search Engines
These sites search among only handpicked, pre-screened websites.
Filtered Search Engines
These sites allow users to activate a filter, which remove objectionable material (adult, violent or hate sites) from search results. Look for the option in something that is titled "Preferences" or "Settings." Be warned, though, that these filters are not always 100% effective.
