Subjects in the one hundreds are philosophy, parapsychology,
the occult, and psychology.

The two hundreds have books about religion.
300.
In the three hundreds are the social sciences. This includes
anthropology (women and feminism, homosexuality, ethnic groups), government and politics,
banking and finance, law and constitution, war, disabilities (drug and alcohol abuse),
crime, murder, customs, etiquette, Christmas, weddings, folklore.
400.
The four hundreds are for languages. You'll find
grammars and dictionaries here.
500.
In the five hundreds are natural science and math books, everything from math,
physics and astronomy
to chemistry, earth science, paleontology, evolution,
botany and zoology.
600.
Books about technology are in the six hundreds. This includes
medicine, health, car repair, gardening, pet care, eating,
food, cookbooks, do-it-yourself projects, child rearing,
management, and homebuilding.
700.
The arts. In the seven hundred's you'll find books about architecture,
sculpture, drawing, decorative arts,
painting and paintings, graphic design, print making, photography,
music, performing arts, sports and recreation.

The eight hundreds are for literature. At the Jones this means pre-twentieth
century fiction, as well as essays and criticism.
900.
Travel, geography and history books are in the nine hundreds.
