December 12, 2011 To Our Dear Patrons and Neighbors, In these challenging times, your Amherst libraries — The Jones Library, Inc. — are more committed than ever to providing you with the best possible library services libraries have to offer. We are very grateful for your loyal partnership in making Amherst's libraries so successful. Your generosity helps make this possible by enabling us to provide for you: Also: Town taxes help with salaries and benefits. We are ever grateful to the Friends of the Library for its tireless and invaluable help. Nevertheless, we have a goal of $85,000 this season to meet the expenses of all the wonderful library collections, services, and facilities. With your help we will meet that goal!
